The piece is divided into well differentiated parts by its expressive, rhythmic or melodic character that evoke a memory of a sea and the movement of its waves, which through the fusion of a conventional method with extended techniques in the saxophone is intended to enrich expressiveness and richness of sound, encouraging new practices in the instrument and initiating students in teaching of contemporary notation with sound resources such as air sound, key sound, bisbigliando, multiphonic, quarter tones or irregular vibratos, leaving the possibility of a free improvisation that develops the creativeness of a performer.”
